Three Winners Selected for the Kansai Life Science Accelerator Program 2025

Kobe, Japan — September 12, 2025

September 19, 2025

The Kansai Life Science Accelerator Program (KLSAP) has selected three outstanding startups from Japan and Korea to participate in the KLSAP 2025 program, following a competitive pitch event in Kobe on September 12, 2025.

Launched in 2020, KLSAP supports life science startups pursuing global expansion. This year’s program—delivered in collaboration with WorldUpstart, a U.S. accelerator based in Philadelphia—will run from October to December 2025 and is designed as a highly customized, one-on-one mentoring experience. Each company will receive four bi-weekly advisory sessions tailored to their needs, along with two concise expert sessions focused on presentation refinement and U.S. market expectations.

The program is scheduled to culminate in January 2026 during JPM Week at the RESI conference in San Francisco, where the three startups will present to an international audience of industry stakeholders.

“Our goal is simple: translate strong science into a credible U.S. strategy. In close collaboration with KLSAP, we’re delivering one-on-one mentoring and selective expert input so each team gains clarity on milestones, evidence, and communications that resonate in the U.S.” said Karina Sotnik, Founder & CEO of WorldUpstart.
