Research focus
Cohort studies have shown that the presence of cardiovascular disease worsens Alzheimer's disease, but the detailed molecular mechanisms are still largely unknown.
My research interests are to clarify the molecular mechanisms by which cardiovascular disease causes the worsening of Alzheimer's disease and to develop a therapy based on our findings.
