Based on a 10-year follow-up study (2010-2020) of 1100 healthy Kobe citizens performed as the Kobe Trial by Foundation for Biomedical Research and Innovation at Kobe, this study aims to identify factors that contribute to the development of hypertension, diabetes, and dyslipidemia, and disorders of quality of life such as hearing impairment or motor function. By continuing the follow-up survey of the Kobe Trial participants, preventive measures for the factors in the onset of multiple health disorders could be verified. The aim is thereby to contribute broadly to health policy making, such as health promotion plans by local governments and the review of the national health check-up system. The project will be promoted as a research project in the field of public health.
