Kobe Campus for Information Science consists of two graduate schools. Graduate school of Applied Informatics focuses on the practice of the societal application of informatics and technology and provides students the fundamental knowledge and skills in the fields.
Graduate School of Simulation Studies is the first in Japan to provide a comprehensive and systematic education on social science simulation and natural science simulation.

    The Applied Informatics School has three courses:
    1) Policy and Management; 2) Healthcare (Medical Welfare and Nursing) and 3) High Confidence. A unique dual degree program with Carnegie Mellon University is offered by High Confidence Course The Simulations Studies School accepts students with various backgrounds including social and natural sciences, and nurtures researchers and engineers with advanced, practical problem solving skills utilizing the methodologies and technologies of complex systems simulation.
