On January 23rd, KBIC hosted "Regenerative Medicine Industrialization Forum 2025 in Yaesu" co-hosted by City of Kobe, co-organized by IQVIA Services Japan Ltd. and Life Science Innovation Network Japan (Link-J) in Tokyo. This event aimed to promote and accelerate industrialization of Cell and Gene Therapy space and to share common challenges among industry, government and academia. On the day of event, over 600 people (onsite + online) attended and learned about the latest trends and topics related to Regenerative Medicine in Japan.

At this eighth series of Regenerative Medicine Industrialization Forum, 6 speakers talked about how to promote valuable developments in the regenerative medicine, cell therapy and gene therapy industries, followed by panel discussion.

Healios Concluded a Master Collaboration Agreement and License Option Agreement with Akatsuki Therapeutics Inc.
We are pleased to announce that Cyto-Facto Inc. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Thermo Fisher Scientific Japan to cooperate on process development for the manufacture of viral vectors for clinical applications. The signing ceremony was held on November 20, 2024 at the Kobe Medical Innovation Center (KCMI). This new partnership is aimed at developing processes for suspension-based scale up of viral vectors in single-use bioreactors to expedite the provision of clinical-grade viral vectors for gene therapies.
