Autumn is said to be "the time of harvest" in Japan and a lot of seasonal good food are harvested.
Among many of fishes, mushrooms, vegetables, fruits etc., pumpkin is one of the food exceptionally delicious in autumn. Japanese Pumpkin (Kabocha) we see at the market looks like this.
Kabocha (Japanese Pumpkin)
Pumpkin is used to make jack-o-lantern or ornaments for Halloween or tasty dishes and sweets, and we Japanese also enjoy Japanese Pumpkin (Kabocha) with dishes like these:
Simmered Kabocha
Kabocha Salad
Kabocha Tempura
Kabocha Soup
These are not at all like the impression from Halloween 🎃, but Just to introduce how we enjoy Japanese Pumpkin (Kabocha) in Autumn and all year round 🍂

Sysmex Launches the UF-1500 Fully Automated Urine Particle Analyzer, a New Product for the Urine Sediment Testing Field (Published: September 27, 2022)
Sysmex Corporation launches the UF-1500 Fully Automated Urine Particle Analyzer (UF-1500), a new product for use in urine sediment testing. The UF-1500 inherits the high levels of functionality and usability of the UF-5000 Fully Automated Urine Particle Analyzer (UF-5000),1 our flagship model in urine sediment testing, while achieving a downsizing of the former model. By expanding the product lineup, we will deliver a wider range of solutions tailored to the customer’s environment and contribute to the streamlining and standardization of urine testing at small and medium-sized facilities.
Three new startups to participate in the “Kansai Life Science Accelerator Program 2022”
The Kansai Life Science Accelerator Program (KLSAP), launched in 2020, is co-hosted by the City of Kobe, Foundation for Biomedical Research and Innovation at Kobe (FBRI), Bayer Yakuhin, Ltd, Sysmex Corporation and Kyoto University Medical Science and Business Liaison Organization (KUMBL). This year, AstraZeneca K.K., Boehringer Ingelheim Japan, Inc. and Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) newly joined to foster the Japanese startups in the life science field for their overseas business expansion, in particular in California, USA.
