Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster (KBIC) will exhibit at Bio Japan 2023, which will be held from Oct 11 to Oct 13, 2023. Bio Japan is a largest partnering event in Asia, which is annually held in Yokohama, Japan. It consists of three main programs, “Exhibition”, “Seminar” and “Partnering”, and KBIC will have a booth exhibition, together with KBIC member companies.

Total Brain Care Co. Ltd. Concluded a Joint Research Agreement with The University of Tokyo Graduate School of Medicine, Department of Digital Mental Health
Total Brain Care Co. Ltd., a member company of Kobe Biomedical Innovation Cluster (KBIC) concluded a joint research agreement with The University of Tokyo Graduate School of Medicine, Department of Digital Mental Health to conduct research to visualize mental health in the workplace using the digital mental health course and digital technology to promote "mental health".
In this joint research, Total Brain Care's [NOU-TAIRYOKU (fitness of BRAIN) Trainer ‘CogEvo’] which is already providing services to the elderly, is utilized to visualize mental health conditions in the workplace and aiming for social implementation. Using the digital data obtained from CogEvo, the research will be conducted in the following areas.
emol and Department of Digital Mental Health, Graduate School of Medicine, The University of Tokyo Started Joint Research for Dissemination and Implementation of the iCBT Program
emol Co., Ltd., which develops applications for the treatment of mental disorders, started joint research with Department of Digital Mental Health, Graduate School of Medicine, The University of Tokyo (hereinafter referred to as “Department of Digital Mental Health”) to improve depressive symptoms and mental health indicators.
emol will implement the program developed by Department of Digital Mental Health to emol application which maintains and promotes mental health with digital technology (e.g .Internet).

We completed latest fundraising round from investors below. In addition, our grant proposal to NEDO’s Deep tech/Start up support grant was approved. We will continue to advance our lead program (UI-101) as well as our Myeloid-Targeting Platform with support of those investors and grant.
Healios eNK Cell Research by Thomas Jefferson University in Metastatic Uveal Melanoma
HEALIO K.K. is providing its innovative eNK platform for a novel research study on metastatic uveal melanoma at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
Researchers at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center ? Jefferson Health will evaluate whether Healios’ allogeneic iPS cell-derived NK cells with specific functions enhanced by gene editing technology (eNK cells) can control metastatic uveal cancer cell growth in laboratory models of the disease.
