vol. 64 October 2025
Hello,
KBIC exhibited at BioJapan 2025, held at Pacifico Yokohama from Wednesday October 8 to Friday October 10, 2025. BioJapan is one of Asia's largest biotechnology partnering events, attracting numerous participants from the pharmaceutical industry, biotech companies, academia, and research institutions both in Japan and overseas. The event facilitated active networking, business meetings, and presentations of cutting-edge technologies and research achievements.

At our booth, we showcased the strengths of KBIC ecosystem by exhibiting together with 4 KBIC companies: MiCAN Technologies Inc., Trans Genic Inc., Cyto-Facto Inc., and Matrixome Inc. The booth featured a wide range of technologies and products related to regenerative medicine, drug discovery, gene therapy, cell manufacturing, and cell culture, drawing significant interest from visitors.
We also focused on utilizing the business matching system, which enabled us to conduct many pre-arranged business meetings. This allowed for efficient information exchange and partner discovery within a limited timeframe, leading to promising new opportunities for collaboration. By leveraging the connections and insights gained through BioJapan, we will continue to strengthen our support for the global expansion of KBIC-affiliated companies.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all those who visited our booth and to everyone who participated in the meetings. We will see you all again next year!
